Sandrine Holt was the mother of Sandrine Ho, who was born in London on 19 November 1972. She was born in London to her Chinese mother and French father. The family relocated to Toronto Canada when she was five years old which is where she has lived ever since. Prior to her acting career, she was employed at Paris to model for the catwalk. Her first film role was Annuka as Annuka in Black Robe (1991). Her role in this film was selected for nomination for the Genie Award (Canadian Oscar). Rapa Nui Risen in Paradise The Legend of Pocahontas & Dance with the Murderer were then followed by guest appearances in Poltergeist The Uncanny Force as well as Outer Limits The Unknown Dimension. For 22 seasons she was a major character in John Woo's The Thief. In 2004, the movie Starship Troopers 2 Hero of the Federation was released, and can be seen only on DVDVHS and Resident Evil Apocalypse was released. Holt was offered a bigger character in 24: Twenty Four, and Runaway. The career of Holt began when she appeared in appearances on TV as guest stars and in smaller films. Holt then took the lead role in Hostages In 2013, and a secondary role the Netflix's House of Cards. Holt starred as Julie Han in the US remake of The Returned in 2015 and was cast in the role of the character Dr. Bethany Exner cast.
